Where is Camp Pepperwood?
114 Day Rd, Lyman, Maine 04002
We are located in Southern Maine, about 30 min. south of Portland, 30 min. north of Portsmouth, and 1 1/2 hrs. north of Boston.
When should I arrive and leave?
Arrival begins Friday, August 30, at 3:00 PM.
Departure is Monday, September 2.
Can I come for just part of the festivities?
Yes! You’re welcome to join for as much or as little as you'd like. Just let us know your plans so we can save you a plate.
Can I bring my kids?
Yes! Camp Pepperwood is family-friendly. There will be games, crafts, and plenty of room to roam.
Can I bring my dogs?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome! Just make sure they play nice with kids, chickens, and other camp pups.
Is there running water? Showers? Bathrooms?
Sort of… You will not have to dig a hole in the woods - unless you want to. We will have a port-a-potty and potable water available at the camp area, as well as a flushing toilet and shower inside for emergencies. We recommend bringing wet-wipes and deodorant.
What’s the sleeping situation?
Most people will bring tents and set up in the designated camping areas.

Will there be food?
Yes! We’ll provide dinner each night, breakfast each morning, and lunches on Saturday and Sunday (including to-go options for local outings). If you have dietary restrictions, let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate.
What if it rains?
We’ve got tarps, tents, and Maine grit. Some activities might shift or get a little muddier, but camp’s happening rain or shine. Bring a raincoat and your best attitude.
Can I bring alcohol?
Yes, BYOB is welcome—we’ll have coolers and plenty of space to share a drink by the fire. Local beer and liquor can be purchased from a shop 1 minute away. down the road.
Do I need to bring anything?
Yes—check out our Packing List for the essentials. Think tent, bedding, bug spray, clothes for all weather, and a few things for fun. If you forget something, chances are someone here will share.
Can I invite a friend?
Absolutely—the more, the merrier! Just make sure they RSVP and are cool with rustic camping, team games, and communal meals. We welcome good humans of all kinds.
